The transport of radioactive material is an essential activity worldwide. Both safety and security during transport are matters of national and international importance. The transport of radioactive material embraces the carriage of radioisotopes for industrial, medical, and research uses, as well as the shipment of radioactive waste, and consignments of nuclear fuel cycle material.
We must be satisfied with the requirements that ensure safety and protect people, property, and the environment from harmful effects of ionizing radiation during the transport of radioactive material. This protection is achieved by requiring:
- Containment of the radioactive contents.
a. Control of external dose rate.
b. Prevention of criticality.
c. Prevention of damage caused by heat. So, we mainly provide: - Safe Transportation of the radioactive materials.
- Prepare needed documents to import and export of radioactive materials.

Radiation Protection Services (RPS)
1. Consulting Services:
Consulting services are provided in line with the company’s requirements. Whether it is consultations related to regulatory aspects with the NRRC, such as: renewing licenses, amending the license, or even issuing a new license. Or technical consultations, such as modifying the store of radioactive sources or shielding calculations, etc.
2. Leak Tests Services:
A service that requires a license from the NRRC. It is a service whereby a sample is taken from a radioactive source or from a specific place where contamination occurred, and this sample is examined in the certified laboratory. The customer is provided with a report on the sample test results.
3. TLDs Reading and Calibration Services:
There are services that we provide such as reading radiation doses from TLDs badge, and calibration radiation survey meter.
Radiation Consultancy
Consulting services are provided in line with the company’s requirements. Training
RPC staff have great experience of more than 5 years in training individuals, coordinate courses and writing manuals in radiation safety and protection for industrial facilities applied man-made radiation sources in their services. Our training classes are customized to fit the various needs such as: Industrial Radiography (IR) technicians, different types of Radiation Safety Officers (RSOs) and Radiation Workers (RW) in different radiation practices.
